About

I have a Master’s degree in Addictions Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma and am under supervision for licensure of alcohol, drug, and mental health counseling. I use my personal journey of recovery along with clinical experience to provide a holistic treatment approach tailored to every individual, family, and/or couple. My goal in therapy is to help individuals and families struggling with addiction and all of life’s stressors find peace and serenity. I believe life is a gift – one that’s meant to be enjoyed & shared. It’s all about doing the next right thing & discovering your purpose.

I am a nationally Certified Trauma Professional and am currently pursuing certification in Eating Disorders and Grief & Loss. Where appropriate, I offer a biblical application of the twelve steps of recovery to help people overcome whatever it is that’s holding them back.

I’m involved in the Celebrate Recovery ministry at my church and, where appropriate, apply my knowledge of scriptural 12-step work in my practice. I grew up in the Oklahoma Panhandle and moved to Oklahoma City in 2010. In my spare time, I enjoy rock-climbing, hiking, kayaking, running, and spending time with my wife, two children, and corgi, Archibald.

. . . there are only two sins: the first is to interfere with the growth of another human being, and the second is to interfere with one’s own growth.
